A Short Q&A

Its been quiet at Young Book Love this month. If you have noticed, and are curious why I hope to answer a few of your questions below.

Q: Why have there been no new posts this month?

A: My youngest two kids had somewhat intensive surgeries at the beginning of April. The surgeries were planned, but the preparing, procedures, and after-care/recovery have forced everything else to the back-burner, including Young Book Love.

Q: How are your kids doing?

A: The kids are doing great, but they have a long road of therapy ahead. We have had so much help and support throughout this process it has been overwhelming in the best possible way. We have had some incredibly tough moments, but are so thankful to be on this side of the surgeries and working toward full recoveries.

Q: Do you still make time to read?

A: Of course, but I'm noticing it takes me a little longer to get through a book than it did before the surgeries.

Q: Are you planning to keep writing posts and sharing books with us at Young Book Love?

A: Yes, but new posts and book lists will be more infrequent and random for a time. I am hoping to start posting with regularity when school starts this September.

Q: Is there anywhere else we can hear from you and discover new books?

A: I’m glad you asked. I would like to start a monthly email newsletter. The newsletter would contain links to recent posts (when there are some) as well as bonus material and other bookish fun for subscribers. The newsletter would only be sent out once a month. If this interests you, go here to sign up.

I am also hoping to start posting to the Young Book Love Instagram account again. If you don’t already follow me and are on Instagram, please check it out!

And finally, if you really want to know what I'm reading you can always follow me on Goodreads under MeganKaeb.

If you have more questions you would like answered, please send them my way. You can contact me here.

It will be quiet here for a time, but I look forward to sharing great books with you again in the future.
